Recruitment of Assistant Software Engineers in CRIS 2023

Centre For Railway Information Systems (CRIS) invites online applications in the prescribed form for the recruitment of the following Sarkari Naukri vacancy posts of Assistant Software Engineers (ASE) for its ongoing various Information Technology (IT) Projects for which selection will be based on GATE-2023 score of Computer Science & Information Technology (CS) Paper for the year 2023. 

About CRIS Software Engineer Recruitment 2023

The Centre For Railway Information Systems (CRIS) having its headquartered in New Delhi, with regional offices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Secunderabad.

CRIS has advertised the vacancies for Assistant Software Engineers for the year 2023 for different requirements of its various currently being developed Information Technology (IT) application systems to cover the emerging needs of the Railways like the protection of Railway assets, energy management, management of the overhead electrification system, parcel management, employees’ health management, and a comprehensive financial management system. This is a very good opportunity for job seeker computer engineer candidates who want to serve the government in IT field.

The selection would be based on the Score obtained by the applicants in the Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2023. There are many PSU Jobs available through valid GATE scores only.

CRIS Software Engineer Recruitment 2023 Vacancies

  • Assistant Software Engineer (ASE): 18 vacancies (UR-10, EWS-01, OBC-04, SC-02, ST-01), Age: 22-27 years as of 20/12/2023, Pay Scale: Pay Level-7 of 7th Pay Commission ₹44900-142400/-, Qualification: BE/ B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering or
    Computer Science or Computer Technology or
    Information Technology or Computer Science & Information Technology or Computer Applications, or
    MCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science – 4 Year degree
    course) with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) and GATE score. Candidates with M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering can also apply, provided they possess the required GATE-2023 score.

Application Fee

The application fee is 1000/- + GST (18%) + Bank charges (as applicable) for General/ OBC-NCL candidates. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates.

How to Apply for CRIS ASE Vacancies 2023? 

Suitable and desirable GATE qualified candidates should apply online in the prescribed recruitment format on the CRIS recruitment website from 21/11/2023 to 20/12/2023 only for CRIS Recruitment 2023 of Software Engineers.
