The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya at Shillong invites online applications in the prescribed format from Indian Nationals possessing consistently good academic records and requisite qualifications and experience for recruitment and appointment for various teaching Faculty Sarkari Naukri Vacancy positions of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors on a permanent basis for the year 2023. NIT Meghalaya  Faculty Recruitment 2023 Vacancies

  1. Assistant Professor (Grade-II) (on contract) in Pay Level-10 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
  2. Assistant Professor (Grade-II) in Pay Level-11 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
  3. Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in Pay Level-12 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
  4. Associate Professor in Pay Level-13A2 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
  5. Professor in Pay Level-14A of Pay Matrix (7th CPC) 
  6. Total Vacancies: 06 vacancies + 2 (against lien) in various Departments/Subjects (UR-02, SC-02, OBC-04)
    1. Computer Science & Engineering: 2 + 1(against lien)
    2. Electronics & Communication Engineering: 1
    3. Electrical Engineering: 3
    4. Chemistry: 1 (against lien)

Application Fee

₹1000/- only to be paid online. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are completely exempted from paying the application fee.

How to Apply for NIT Meghalaya Faculty vacancy recruitment 2023? 

Desirous candidates should apply online in the prescribed format from 01/06/2023 to 05/07/2023 only for Faculty Vacancy Recruitment in NIT Meghalaya 2023. The printout of the filled-in application form should be addressed to the “Registrar, National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong-793003” on or before 19/07/2023 only.
