Hiro Mashima, creator of Fairy Tail and Edens Zero, reveals his next series

The name of Hiro Mashima may not sound familiar to you, and we can’t blame you, because he himself is not particularly popular, but it is likely that you have ever heard of Fairy Tail, his most recognized work. This may not be up to par with other greats in the medium, and it may not be considered one of the best anime ever, but it has always had a large number of fans throughout the world.

Later, this creator surprised us with Edens Zero, a work quite similar to his previous work, on a visual level, but visiting a diametrically opposed world. Now, Hiro Mashima has decided to reveal what his new series will be through a tweet on his official account, which you will find below, also revealing the design of what appears to be the main character. We practically only know that the name of this serialization (because yes, as it was clear, we are talking about a manga series) is “Dead Rock”.

As he comments, It will be a series with a short duration, unlike his previous works, which have lasted many chapters, as is the case with Edens Zero, which has not finished yet. In addition, thanks to the image shown, we can verify that his artistic style will be similar, but not the same as what we could see in his previous works, something strange since this mangaka usually sins that his style makes it seem that all his series are the same.

This series will begin specifically on July 6so we will still have to wait a bit to read it, but we are already looking forward to seeing to what extent it manages to differentiate itself from the creator’s previous works.
