Irina Radoeva is the new chairman of the BAIT Board of Directors

For the first time in its 28-year history, BAIT will be led by a woman

Irina Radoeva is the new chairman of the BAIT Board of Directors, elected unanimously at the General Accountability and Election Meeting on May 31. Until now, she was a member of the Management Board of the association with the departments “Electronic Government”, “State Institutions” and “Market Environment and Competition”.

Irina Radoeva is the executive director of “APIS EUROPE” AD, responsible for marketing and sales. Graduated from higher engineering education at the Technical University in Sofia. From 1999 to 2001, he was the executive secretary of BAIT. From 2001 to February 2018, he was the commercial director of APIS, also managing the activities of APIS distributors.

The new chairman of BAIT has extensive experience in organizing conferences, seminars and training courses. On the occasion of her appointment, Radoeva stated that she will make every effort to lead the association through the revolution of artificial intelligence, which is happening in parallel with the political situation in the country and the complex foreign policy situation.

“We will work as a team – everyone from the Management Board with their roles and tasks; we will rely on the support of the Control Board, as well as we will look for the specific expertise of each of our members”, indicated the newly elected chairman.

For the first time in its 28-year history, BAIT will be led by a woman, and a total of 4 women were elected to the 9-member management board.
