People are able to determine the sex of each other by smell – Digikar

As the results of the experiments of scientists have shown, men and women are able to accurately determine the body odor of the opposite sex.

Scientists from China, led by Professor Wen Zhou, conducted a study, thanks to which it became known that nature has endowed each person with a unique ability to recognize the gender of their own kind, just by smelling their body.

Also, scientists came to the conclusion that not only heterosexuals are able to accurately recognize gender, but also representatives of non-traditional orientation – homosexuals perceive body odor in the same way as heterosexual men.

By the way, everyone has long known the fact that smell is one of the most important factors that guides a person when choosing a partner. Although official science has not yet recognized the significance of pheromones in relationships between people, this theory has long been very popular.

According to the researchers, the nature of such a phenomenon as the choice of the second half by smell is easy to explain. The aroma of that partner seems to be the most pleasant for a person, whose immune system is as different as possible from his own. We perceive such a smell as the most sexual, and the person who exudes it is attractive. And all because people with two different immune systems have every chance to acquire offspring with the most stable immunity.
