Pokémon GO users ask that the Community Day schedule be readjusted due to high temperatures

Over the past few weeks we have experienced widespread heat waves across Europe. The title of Niantic, Pokémon GO, already warns us through notifications that we must be careful depending on the time we go out to capture Pokémon due to high temperatures. However, despite this, many users have complained about the hours at which certain events have been launched.

Users of Pokémon GO in the United Kingdom, through Reddit they have seen fit to complain about the time in which the August Community Daycentered on the Zigzagoon de Galar. The event took place last Saturday August 13 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pmas we confirmed them on Nintenderos.

Many users have come to be able to capture this Pokémon no problem, while other users, due to high temperatures, have not been able to yet. Some users, as we indicated, mainly from United Kingdomwhich is experiencing historic heat waves, have described this schedule as “unsafe” and ask Niantic reset that event.

This adjustment has already been made by Niantic in 2020, so it would not be unreasonable that something similar could be done with this event due to the extraordinary temperatures.

Do you share this feeling from your cities? What do you think of this readjustment?
