Pokémon: Google shuts down its Pikachu voice service

We bring sad news related to Pokémon. It seems that the Pikachu voice app is crashing on some devices.

Unfortunately, the app “Pikachu Talk” for Google Home and Assistant will end their service at the end of this month. With this app, fans could chat with Pikachu and ask him questions, receive funny answers, and enjoy classic one-liners from him.

However, from June 13, 2023, the service will be interrupted. However, it seems that in other services such as Amazon Alexa it will continue to be available.

You can see how it works below:

As you can see in the video above, Google Home is basically a smart speaker developed by Google that uses Google’s virtual assistant called Google Assistant. For its part, Google Assistant is an artificial intelligence assistant that responds to voice commands and performs various tasks, such as playing music, providing information, setting reminders, controlling smart home devices, and more. Google Home acts as a central device to access Google Assistant and control different aspects of a smart home, but now Pikachu will no longer be a part of them.
