Star Wars Unlimited will arrive in 2024

Star Wars Unlimited

A fantasy flight is producing the Star Wars Unlimited TCG and has already set a date that the set of playable and collectible cards will be on the market. According to the producer, the game will arrive in 2024 – still without a date set by the team. The intention is to make it as popular as Pokémon TCG, Magic: The Gathering and even Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Fantasy Flight’s plan is to ship just three sets a year, saving consumers from having to frequently spend on cards. “Ensuring this game is accessible to all players is paramount for us, so whether you are a casual gamer, competitor or collector – there will be a place for everyone in the experience. Mechanics that will allow us to move forward is the engine behind our design. It’s simple and concise, with no gimmicks – a card game in its purest form.”

The Galaxy of Star Wars Unlimited

While the core art only contains the classic characters from the first trilogy, Star Wars Unlimited will embrace the entire saga – including everything from the prequel material to the “The Force Awakens” arc. Disney’s involvement in the project has not been confirmed, considering they will have their own TCG to worry about: Lorcana.
