Teracrystallization could cause problems with some abilities and movements in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple

We have received some interesting information related to one of the most anticipated Switch titles. We are actually talking about Pokemon Scarlet and Purple.

In the recent trailer for Pokémon Escralta and Purple we were introduced to what is the characteristic phenomenon of the 9th generation, the teracrystallization. This mechanic will allow each Pokémon to enhance the movements of a specific type and even make them change types. Thus, there are several specific abilities that could have problems when combined with teracrystallization. Here we tell you more about it:

Shedinja and his Superguard ability

Shedinja has a unique ability called Super Guard that makes him immune to 13 of the current 18 types, affecting only those that are super effective, but will go down in one hit if hit. The type changes produced by teracrystallization could be used for Shedinja to manipulate its ability by making itself immune or weak to other types.which would generate great confusion in combat.

Other skills such as Libero or Mutatipo

There are abilities that cause continuous changes in the type of the Pokémonsuch as with Mutatype or Libero, the hidden abilities of Pokémon like Greninja or Cinderace. If a Pokémon with one of these abilities changes to its teratype, but later uses a different move, will it be able to change types after being tera-crystallized?

Notably there could be problems with other moves like Condena Silvana or Anegarwhich cause changes in the type of the affected target, but at this time it is unknown how these kinds of attacks and abilities will be affected by teracrystallization.
