The inflammatory process in the oral cavity can be determined using a special chewing gum – Digikar


Representatives of science from Germany claim that the inflammatory process in the oral cavity can be detected with the help of special chewing gum and without going to medical facilities.

The organizers of the study added a special and harmless component to the standard chewing gum composition, which reacts to the microflora in the mouth during inflammatory processes.

The study is primarily useful for those who have dental implants. This category of people more often than others is faced with inflammation due to the ingress and development of bacteria. With implants, it is problematic to immediately detect inflammation, since the nerve endings have undergone destruction.

The main danger of inflammation is that if the process is not eliminated in time, not only tissues, but also bones can be destroyed.

If there are no implants, many detect inflammation in a timely manner, feeling swelling of the mucous membranes and pain.

In any case, the novelty created by experts will be able to recognize all types of inflammatory processes in the oral cavity without special tests in the laboratory.
