All files from the process of video broadcasting in real time from the counting of the ballots and the processing of the election protocols after the end of the election day have been published on the evideo.bg portal, announced the Ministry of Electronic Government.

The video broadcasting platform has made nearly 27,000 recordings of 8,969 sectional election commissions. After the arrival of all the technical devices for video recording at the CEC, the recordings will be downloaded and published on the portal, according to the requirements of the Election Code.

For the period April 2-3, 2023, the evideo.bg platform registered 115,441 visits. Of these, 75,000 were in the time zone 20:00 – 23:59 on April 02, 2023. The average visit time was 10 min 43 sec. Over 590,000 are the number of viewed pages.

Outside of Bulgaria, the most visits were reported by Great Britain (1,598) and Germany (1,583). In the country, the greatest activity was recorded by residents of Sofia with 39,525 visits and users from Veliko Tarnovo with 9,614 visits.

At peak times, the CCTV system recorded the simultaneous broadcast of 6,500 sectional election commissions. In the sections with an interruption due to poor Internet coverage, the recording is saved in the device.

During the process of video broadcasting and video recording, 150 calls were received in the contact center at MEU, with the most frequent signals being related to the lack of online broadcasting. On the pre-election day, only 5 mobile devices were replaced after a defect was reported.

On election night, no cyberattacks or attempted cyberattacks were registered against the evideo.bg platform, the Ministry of Electronic Government clarified.
