This Life is Strange disappearance case seems to be inspired by another from real life and his family is not happy

No doubt this information is quite surprising, even for those who are not fans of Life is Strange. It seems that one of the disappearance cases in the game is inspired by a true story.

In the disappearing game Rachel, released in 2015, there is a case very similar to another that happened in reality. The information has been shared by Isabella, the daughter of the late Sunday Blombergh, who states that “the backstory and physical appearance of the character Rachel are almost identical.” We can also see that a phone number to reach the local sheriff matches, where the same area code is displayed.

“On Rachel’s wiki page, there are several descriptions that are almost copies of Sunday”: those were the words her nephew, Skylur Blombergh, said to Isabella via email. The developers […] They should have reached out to the family.”.

As you can see, the family of the disappeared woman has not been amused that the case is reflected in the video game Life is Strange without first having contacted them. What is your opinion?
