Union Public Service Commission  (UPSC), Shahjahan Road, Dholpur House, New Delhi – 110069 will hold a Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 (Computer Based Test) on 18/02/2024 for selection to Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2024 for recruitment to following 56 Govt. Job Sarkari Naukri Vacancy posts of Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist, and Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) (Group-A) in Geological Survey of India (GSI) and in Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), etc. of Government of India.

UPSC Geo-Scientist Recruitment Exam 2024 Vacancies

  • Geologist: 34 vacancies in the Geological Survey of India 
  • Geophysicist: 01 vacancies in the Geological Survey of India 
  • Chemist: 13 vacancies in Geological Survey of India 
  • Scientist-B (Geophysics): 02 vacancies in n Central Ground Water Board 
  • Scientist-B (Chemical): 02 vacancies in Central Ground Water Board 
  • Scientist-B (Hydrogeology): 04 vacancies in Central Ground Water Board 

Age: 21-32 years as on 01/01/2024


Application Fee for Geo-Scientist  Examination 2024


₹200/- to be paid either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using the Net Banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Female candidates.
