Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom It’s just around the corner, and fans can’t wait to jump right in with all the new stuff.
Some of them include the function of throwing objects, the rockets or the change to the Shrines. But among all the news of the new game, we forget that there is still a lot we don’t know about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its vast world.
Next we will explore more about the Zonnan tribe and if they will have any involvement in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Who are the Zonnan in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
The Zonnan tribe may be part of the plot of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomso it never hurts to meet her.
The Zonnan have inhabited the lands of Hyrule for thousands of years prior to the events of Breath of the Wild. Despite them, much is unknown about them, from their customs to their ideals. What we do know is that they were very strong warriors, magic users, and worshipers of the Triforce.
In fact, the name may sound familiar to you from the Zonnan Ruins. This area of the Farone region in Zelda: Breath of the Wild It is known for its exceptional statues. It even contains the Fountain of Courage, with an effigy of the goddess Hylia.
In the structures we can appreciate the carved shape of a snake dragon, as well as owl and wild boar designs. According to the game’s companion book, the dragon represents Courage, the owl Wisdom, and the boar Power. This is how his worship of the Triforce is verified.
But there is still much that is unknown about these brave warriors who may appear in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
What did the Zonnans look like?
Los Zone could surprise us in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for their various abilities.
This ancient tribe did not just specialize in magic and fighting. They were also excellent builders, having created many of the structures such as fortresses and shrines throughout Hyrule.
Many of these we recognize by the symbol of a long-eared creature with seven commas around its body. It is believed that this was the crest of the costumes the Zonnans wore. It could also refer to the new character with long ears that is presumed to be the goddess Hylia.
We can see some of this in the pieces of barbaric armor that are obtained by completing the labyrinths that Zonnan may have built themselves. The game tells us that these armor parts were created by “a warrior tribe from the Faron region”, although it’s clear that they weren’t limited to said lands.
But regarding what they looked like, we don’t have much information. Maybe Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom show us more about it. If they happen to be the creators of the barbaric armor pieces, then we know they have a human complexion.
However, being wild magic-using warriors, they could be mixed with other species. Maybe the next image from the end of the trailer for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom speak for itself.
Will the Zonnans appear in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
There really isn’t a clear answer to whether Zone will appear in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, the community speculates that they are, considering how far they were advanced in the first game.
This powerful tribe survived for thousands of years against all kinds of calamities. They are rumored to have “mysteriously” disappeared, but some believe they had wars with the Hylians. In theory, it would be these who gave them the nickname “barbarians” to describe their warlike customs.
Others speculate that “Tears of the Kingdom” is a reference to the kingdom’s punishment for atrocities committed against this ancient tribe. They could be seeking revenge and be directly responsible for the dark magic that plagues Hyrule.
But those are just community speculation. So far we’ve seen some items have the name “Zonnan” on them, confirming that they will continue to be relevant in Tears of the Kingdom.
